Cupertino - Rolling Blackout
Today, there was a rolling blackout in Cupertino. I also learned what a rolling blackout is.

1. It is an intentionally-engineered electrical power outage where electricity delivery is stopped for non-overlapping periods of time over geographical regions. They did it on purpose.
2. They are usually in response to a situation where the demand for electricity exceeds the power supply capability of the network. Cupertino uses too much energy!?
3. Rolling blackouts are a last-resort measure used by an electric utility company in order to avoid a total blackout of the power system. Everybody sacrifices a little bit so we don’t all suffer all at once.
